I am calling with urgent and intense opposition to any potential military attack or war with Iran. This would be and catastrophic crime against humanity, not to mention unauthorized, and illegal under U.S. and international law.
Proponents of war claim they want to help the Iranian people, but bombing them on the heels of intense external sanctions is not help — it’s a death sentence. An attack would only cause massive suffering for Iranian civilians and further unify the country against us. Meanwhile, at home, our population will continue to suffer for lack of healthcare and education — sometimes even basic shelter and sustenance as the United States squanders our national treasure to destroy another country.
This war has no authorization from Congress, and it does not have the support of the American people. Polls show 70% of us oppose this. The Constitution gives Congress, not the President alone, the power to authorize war.

As the UN Humanitarian Chief recently stated after visiting Gaza, we have a massive task to address the devastation, but aid must be allowed to surge . However, a man-made famine is actively unfolding because border crossings are not fully open.
Therefore, I demand that [Representative/Senator Name] take the following actions:
Open the Crossings: Publicly demand that the Israeli government immediately open all border crossings for the unrestricted flow of food, water, and medicine. The ceasefire has created a space for aid to surge, but it must be allowed in.
Stop the Bombs: Cosponsor and support legislation that blocks the sale and transfer of offensive U.S. weapons to Israel. The U.S. cannot continue to send weapons while a famine, which many are calling a weapon of war, is ongoing.
Support Human Rights: Support the call for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land, which is the root cause of this conflict, and support the human rights and self-determination of the Palestinian people, as recently affirmed by the African Union and the International Court of Justice.
The people of Gaza are not just numbers; they are humans demanding the right to live, learn, and exist safely. We need our member of Congress to stand on the right side of history and uphold international and U.S. law.
